If you operate a Consumer Data Right endpoint and are seeing requests from CDRRatesTracker-Collector, this page explains them.
The Rate Ledger maintains a public, historical archive of Product Reference Data published by Australian banking and non-bank-lending data holders under the Consumer Data Right. PRD endpoints are public and unauthenticated by design (Consumer Data Standards); our collector reads only these endpoints — Get Products and Get Product Detail — and never touches consumer data or authenticated APIs.
Collection practices
One collection run per day per brand (6-hourly during RBA decision windows). Requests within a
brand are sequential with a minimum 250 ms spacing, standard x-v/x-min-v
version negotiation, and a descriptive User-Agent pointing at this page. We respect
Retry-After on 429 responses. Payloads are archived verbatim for historical and
research purposes; the resulting datasets are published free at
therateledger.com.
